Filters can be manufactured in wire mesh, perforated plate and expanded metal with production varying from "one offs" to repeat orders for large international customers.

Croft Filters manufactures and fabricates all its products in-house using techniques including micro plasma, seam, arc, gas, MIG, TIG, spot welding and CNC punching.

Using our well-equipped machine shop, punching, rolling and forming of products can be done quickly to specific requirements. Our team of specialist engineers are happy to meet your individual filtration requirements. Croft Filters specialise in providing solutions for precise tolerances and specifications with our attention to detail and product quality providing a competitive advantage.

Croft Filters can work with a wide range of materials including Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Brass, Metal Alloys and Synthetic Materials.

CAD & CAM Facilities

Filtration using the latest technology

Croft Filters take pride in our agile manufacturing with an ability to swiftly turnaround customer specified filtration solutions. We deploy the same Computer Aided Design (CAD) software as some Formula 1 teams to develop designs to precise specifications. Croft Filters also utilise computer aided manufacturing equipment, which allows us to reproduce perforating layouts, however demanding. Our technical sales team can be contacted for advice or assistance with any enquiries.

Our Trumatic (punch & nibbling) machines are capable of punching up to a 74mm hole with a single stroke through a maximum plate thickness of 6mm. Custom punching is available and our technical sales department can be contacted for more information.

Nowadays Croft Filters manufactures customer specified filters including perforated plate, mesh, wedge wire, Dixon Rings, bonded anchor sleeves and strainers. All of these are supplied into a variety of industries including power generation, chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, engineering, food and beverage, manufacturing, waste management and marine.

Croft Filters experience now extends into repair and technical back-up, including re-meshing, technical advice and drawings to help meet the customers’ exacting product requirements.

A rich History

Croft Filters (originally called Croft Engineering Services) was founded in Warrington, England in 1986 by two brothers with ambition and a strong desire to succeed. The company’s initial focus was retailing mesh and finding practical uses for it.

Natural progression led to the introduction of filter production. As the company began to establish itself it became renowned for high quality craftsmanship and its desire to “go the extra mile” to understand customers filtration problems. Working closely with its customers the company has amassed vast knowledge and experience in delivering effective and practical filtration solutions at speed.

Today the company has developed into an international force in custom-made filter manufacture with high profile clients across the globe in a range of industry sectors. The driving force behind the company’s success has been its commitment to listen to customers and consistently provide a fast and agile service.
