Croft has manufactured many different Witches Hat Filters over the last 30 years, each designed specifically for each Customer’s process. Primarily used for filtration and separation, the Witches Hats can be manufactured to filter from as little as 1 micron.

Also known as: conical filters, last chance filters and cone filters, the witches hat design can be manufactured from both perforated plate and wire mesh. The custom perforated plate offers a support for the mesh, reducing the chances of the mesh from splitting under higher pressures.

We offer a range of materials including: Mild & Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, Inconel®, Monel®, Hastelloy® and Aluminium Alloy’s. Each material is of European or North American origin and are available with material certification on request.
