Based in the wire production town of Warrington, Croft Filters has extensive knowledge and understanding of knitted wire mesh.
Knitted mesh is used in our custom filtration solutions and can also be used for a variety of other applications.
Knitted Wire
Composed of metal wire strands, the mesh is knitted in an interlocking loop structure. This gives the material unique characteristics to allow it to flex whilst also filtering to a fine level. Additionally it can withstand thermal shock and vibration.
It can also be compressed to create filter media that offers fine filtration, high density and high surface area.
Mesh Range
Croft supply a range of different materials including: Stainless steel 316 and 316L. Alongside, SS 304, Mild Steel and Aluminium amongst others. These can be supplied with material certification (when requested at enquiry).
Knitted mesh is available in forms such: as rolls and pads, as well as complete filters and filter elements.
