Generally formed from stainless steel wedge wire, slot tubes provide large filter areas which reduce the chance of solid getting clogged at the filter barrier. Radial Slot and Axial Slot are two popular designs, determined by the intended direction of the flow through the filters.
Wedge wire construction allows slot tubes to withstand high pressure whilst filtering accurately, effectively and efficiently. The filters can also be backwashed for easy inline maintenance. Croft Filters can also additive manufacture slot tubes to custom requirements.
