Croft’s Mesh Tubes are widely used across many different industries due to their construction allowing for easy assimilation into different housings and processes, and also due to the large variety of woven wire mesh materials and their varied micron ratings which allow for compatibility within different industries.

Wire Mesh Tube Filter

Mesh Tubes are created from a square or rectangular piece of woven wire mesh that is folded onto itself and welded together, the ends of the now cylindrical mesh can be finished as requested to suit your specifications.

Examples include:

  • Welding more mesh onto one end of the tube, creating a half-closed cylinder which will entrap particulates of the desired micron and above
  • Creating and welding mesh supports onto the ends of the mesh, keeping the cylinder open but increasing strength while stopping fraying and deformation of the mesh
  • Adding flanges or other styles of fittings onto the end(s) of the mesh cylinder
